Volunteer Spotlight: Tiffany Juilfs

This week’s Volunteer Spotlight focuses on Tiffany Juilfs. Tiffany has only been a volunteer since October, however, she has already gotten involved with the organization in several different capacities. Tiffany is passionately serving as a Disaster team member, Duty Office, Mass Care team member, Shelter Service associate, Blood Donor ambassador, and is a member of the Recruitment team.

Tiffany joined the Red Cross as a way to help others in any way possible. Tiffany has had to overcome tremendous personal hardships in her life, and through the Red Cross, she has been able to make a positive impact on the lives of others. In addition to the multitude of volunteer positions Tiffany currently serves in, she has also become OSHA certified in first aid for opioid response and first aid/CPR/AED for adults, children, and pediatrics. Tiffany is also a Red Cross representative for the Local Emergency Planning Committee in her community.

Tiffany looks forward to each day serving the Red Cross because it allows her to provide light for everyone that she helps. After just four short months as a Red Cross volunteer, Tiffany has already shown just how large of an impact one passionate volunteer can make. When asked to pick a favorite aspect of being a Red Cross volunteer, Tiffany was unable to pick just one. She looks forward to each day knowing she is able to help improve the lives of others.

“I can say that after all of the tragedies in my life, “ said Tiffany, “the Red Cross has given me a part of my life back that I thought I would never see again. I will forever be grateful and continue my journey with the Red Cross by my side.”
