American Red Cross and Cedar Fair theme parks team up to maintain the summer blood supply

Blood donors will receive a free Cedar Fair theme park ticket

When every second counts, blood products can provide lifesaving care. For this reason, the American Red Cross and Cedar Fair are joining forces to ensure that blood is available for patients who need it.

.

The Red Cross and Cedar Fair invite community members to donate at select blood drives this summer to ensure blood and platelets are available for individuals in need of lifesaving transfusions. As a thank you, anyone who comes to donate at designated blood drives will receive one FREE Cedar theme park ticket that can be used at participating parks (listed below).

The need for blood is constant, and it’s through the generosity of donors that we can ensure that lifesaving blood is readily available for patients,” said Julie Brady, Donor Services Executive for the Red Cross Indiana Blood Services Region. “Donating blood is a selfless act that could allow a family to celebrate another birthday, anniversary, or graduation with their loved one.”
